At The Gallina Companies, we are committed to continuously improving how we operate and how we serve our residents. As part of that commitment, we recently implemented a new property management platform, RealPage, along with Knock CRM to support our leasing and prospect management. This transition represents an important step forward in strengthening the technology that supports our teams, our communities, and the residents we serve.
Major technology transitions require significant coordination and effort, but they also position us to operate more efficiently, communicate more effectively, and continue delivering an exceptional experience across our portfolio.
Why We Made the Change
The multifamily housing industry continues to evolve, with advanced technology playing an increasingly important role in property management operations. Modern platforms allow companies like ours to bring together property management, marketing, leasing, operations, and analytics into unified systems designed specifically for apartment communities.
New Management & Marketing Platforms
RealPage represents the core of this new technology platform. As one of the most widely used property management systems in the multifamily industry, RealPage provides a comprehensive suite of tools for managing property operations, financial reporting, leasing activity, and performance analytics. This system allows us to operate with greater consistency across our communities while giving our teams better access to the information they need to make informed decisions.
Complementing RealPage is Knock CRM, which focuses specifically on leasing and prospect management. Knock helps our teams manage leads, schedule tours, track communications with prospective residents, and guide prospects through the leasing process. By integrating Knock with RealPage, we are able to connect our leasing pipeline directly with our property management platform.
Together, these systems create a more modern and integrated technology foundation for our organization.
Benefits for Our Teams and Residents:
Stronger Operational Platform
RealPage provides a centralized system for managing the operational and financial aspects of our communities. This allows our teams to work within a consistent platform across the organization, improving efficiency and visibility into property performance.
Centralized Leasing and Communication
Knock CRM allows our leasing teams to manage leads, tours, and communications through a single platform. Prospective residents can schedule tours, communicate with our teams more easily, and move through the leasing process in a more seamless way.
Greater Operational Efficiency
Automation tools within these systems reduce repetitive administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and follow-up communications. This allows our team members to spend more time focusing on what matters most—building relationships with residents and helping prospects find the right home.
Better Data and Insights
RealPage provides advanced analytics and reporting tools that give us deeper insight into leasing performance, marketing effectiveness, and property operations. These insights help us make better-informed decisions and continually improve how we manage our communities.
Improved Resident Experience
With more integrated systems and streamlined communication tools, we are able to provide a smoother and more responsive experience for both prospective and current residents.
Recognizing the Work Behind the Transition
A technology transition of this scale is never simple. Implementing a new property management platform across multiple communities requires extensive planning, training, and collaboration across many teams.
We want to recognize and thank everyone across The Gallina Companies who contributed to this effort. From data migration and training to adapting new workflows and processes, the amount of work involved has been significant. The dedication and professionalism shown throughout this transition reflect the strength of our team and our shared commitment to progress.
Looking Ahead
While the implementation of RealPage and Knock CRM represents a major milestone, we recognize that there is still work ahead. As we continue learning and refining how we use these platforms, we will discover new opportunities to improve our processes and further enhance the tools available to our teams.
What this transition ultimately represents is our commitment to moving forward—to investing in technology, supporting our teams, and continuing to build communities where residents feel at home.
With this new technology foundation in place, we are well positioned for the future.
