Position Description: Schroeder Community Manager Are you looking for a great place to work? We are seeking a full-time COMMUNITY MANAGER to manage our 72-unit Schroeder Square property located on Madison's west side: Candidates who are highly motivated, self-starters, and who have retail or property management sales experience along with a successful track record of providing excellent customer service are encouraged to apply. The Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property including resident sales/leasing, marketing, resident relations, facilities management, personnel management, and other associated property management duties. Excellent customer service and communication and effective problem solving skills are essential. This position requires the ability to provide effective communication with vendors, residents and team members while making sound decisions on behalf of the property. The ideal candidate will have or exhibit: A minimum of two years of on-site property management experience handling a site of comparable size OR an Associate Degree in sales, marketing, or related field preferred plus a minimum of one year of on-site property management experience of comparable size preferred. A minimum of two years of providing excellent customer service and sales experience required The ability to multi-task, and/or make independent decisions in a fast-paced customer service oriented work environment required. The ability to communicate professionally, and tactfully. A successful track record of management experience and accomplishments required Management/Supervisory experience and a successful track record of positive team leadership and collaboration required. Proficiency using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent software required. Property Management Certification and current knowledge of applicable housing laws and leasing agreements preferred. Knowledge of or the ability to interpret accounting and/or financial information preferred. Prior use of YARDI Property Management software preferred. Full-time hours are 40 hours/week (M-H with late afternoon/early evening until 6:00 p.m.) and shortened Saturday hours. HS diploma/GED preferred. 1-2 years of experience in apartment related maintenance; 3-4 years is preferred Experience in carpentry, dry-wall, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and plumbing. Obtainment of pool certification within 6 months of employment desired. Must be able to work in a fast-pace and customer service-oriented environment. Knowledge of applicable housing laws preferred. Hours are 40 per wk., Mon.-Fri. with rotational 24/7 on-call availability. On-call time rotates between maintenance team members once every 3 weeks. Position Description: Does working with people, performing a variety of work and working in a fast-paced environment sound interesting to you? Are you highly motivated, successful in showing and leasing quality apartment, or have comparable sales experience. If so, Gallina Management is seeking an individual with the right skills to join our Florida Property Management team as a Leasing Consultant. In the Leasing position, you will showcase sales/leasing skills, complete leasing paperwork, and provide excellent resident relations services. We currently have two openings at our new Lemon Bay Apartment Community located in Englewood, and also at our Woodmere Apartments of Venice Apartment Community. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a min. of 1 year of property management leasing experience OR an associate degree in sales, marketing, or related field with six months of property management experience. One year of sales experience maybe considered in lieu of property management leasing experience. Preference is for a leasing consultant who has excellent organizational skills and In addition, we are seeking a candidate who has: Familiarity w/ housing laws and leasing agreements are preferred. A minimum of one year of providing exemplary related customer service experience. Answers incoming phone calls professionally and handles appropriately, whether the caller is a prospective or current resident, an internal Company team member or a vendor. Taken initiative with work processes and process improvements while working as an effective member of a team. Microsoft software skills or equivalent software are required. The availability to be scheduled for 5 days per week and available to work shortened Saturday hours.
